A veritable bouquet of wildflowers just in this one spot. Hovedøya is home to the only known Norwegian population of ground clover, which can be seen behind the yellow mullein. Also pictured are Norwegian varieties of buttercup and bee balm — much larger and more robust than U.S. species (just like the people.)
