The Jordaan (yor-DAHN) neighborhood wins the award for most gorgeous homes. No matter how small the space, everyone has a lovely garden. Matthew and I have made a pact that we will live here one day. By the way, in this photo, it’s easy to see that the false gable and window aren’t dedicated to their own separate, livable floor. They’re merely letting light into the floor below. In other words, the third story of the house is actually the attic, which has a cathedral ceiling with a little window up top.
