Volunteers from the Norwegian Maritime Museum greeted visitors aboard the RS “Colin Archer” and told stories about the rescue boat. Built in 1893, it’s credited with saving the lives of 274 people, rescuing 67 vessels from total loss, and giving assistance to another 1,522 vessels.
