I’m sure we all know by now that the custom of bringing in a live tree and decorating it during the winter solstice is a pagan tradition, converted to Christianity by Germany’s Martin Luther, and popularized by England’s Queen Victoria. I love how the ornaments on this tree are all tied on with ribbons.
