Even from a distance, it’s easy to see the layers of limestone that were laid down on the ocean floor millions of years ago. Over time, seawater has etched several natural caves into the base of the cliff. Together, this group of caves are collectively referred to as “The Blue Grotto,” although one particular cave nestled behind an arch bears the actual name. We’ll get to it in a sec.
