NRK (National Norwegian Broadcasting) produced “Bergensbanen: Minutt for Minutt” to celebrate the train’s 100th anniversary. The program not only highlighted the spectacular scenery from Oslo to Bergen — rated by National Geographic as one of the world’s best train trips — but also showed historic footage of the route, as well as interviews with passengers, the conductor and crew, and historic tape of Martin Gjerde, who helped build the original track.
