NRK (National Norwegian Broadcasting) produced “Bergensbanen: Minut for Minut” to celebrate the train’s 100th anniversary. The program highlighted the spectacular scenery from Oslo to Bergen — rated by National Geographic as one of the world’s best train trips — and also featured historic footage of the route; interviews with passengers, the conductor and crew; and historic tape of Martin Gjerde, who helped build the original track.
