Holmenkollen is touted as the most advanced ski jump in the world. But I always laugh at this when I watch the ski jumper butt-wiggle his way out along the wooden board that serves as the launch point. It’s a bit like watching someone walk the plank. You’d think it be a bit more high tech, but no, a group of guys basically extends the wooden bench so the guy can wriggle his way to the track.
