Totally looks like the black-lava coastline of Fiji, right? In actuality, the rock formations here aren’t volcanic; they’re sedimentary, made up of sandstone and shale laid down where ancient rivers formed deltas along the ocean coastline during the Palaeozoic Era (544 – 230 million years ago).
