The almond-flavored Kransekake (“wreath cake”) comes with candies and British crackers pinned to it. So we played the traditional game of snapping open the crackers with a communal tug, then donning the crowns and reading the jokes hidden inside. Only one problem. The jokes were in Norwegian, so we had to do some creative translating.
