Every Christmas, Norway’s “Ribbe Hotline” fields about 800 calls from panicked cooks. (It’s kinda like our Butterball Turkey hotline at Thanksgiving, which incidentally receives more than 100,000 calls and five million texts, emails, live chats, and social-media cries for help each year.) This year to help folks out, NRK offered a special “ribbe cam” where folks could watch a hunk-o-ribbe cook inside an oven for seven hours. Yeah, kinda like watching paint dry, but to each his own.
